The hotter the water is, the better it will dissolve. The outer part of the bead is pretty thick so it needs a higher temperature to melt better. And no worries if you don't want to use hot water, the outer capsule can be disposed of if it doesn't fully melt. Our products are biodegradable so rest assured that no plastics will go down your drain.
The more you use in your bath tub, the slipperier it will get! Usually one bead is enough oil to leave your skin nice and moisturized. But if you have the urge to use more, just be extra careful getting out of the tub. 3 beads are probably the max you should use in one bath.
